Bridging the Gap
Addicts close to release from facilities and institutions can experience fear about re-entering society. A Bridging the Gap volunteer provides an introduction to NA members and our program.
As a temporary NA contact, you will accompany the newcomer to a variety of NA meetings, make introductions to other members of Narcotics Anonymous, and share your experience of recovery with the Narcotics Anonymous program. You may give someone that little bit of encouragement they need to turn their life around and walk a path that doesn’t lead to jails, institutions and death.
